my favourite joke

I'm sure I've posted it on here at least once before, but, since it's Friday and I'm bored, here goes:

A guy is walking down the street, when he sees a large Pitbull type dog attacking a young boy. He sprints towards the stramash, gets the dog in a headlock and strangles it to death.

Another guy walks over and tells the dog strangler that he witnessed the entire incident. He also mentions that he is a newspaper reporter and wants to write a story about what just happened.

He asks the guy if he is a Celtic fan. When the guy replies no, he says, that's a pity, my headline could have been bhoy saves boy.

He then asks the guy if he is a Falkirk fan. Again the guy says no. The reporter says, ah, too bad, headline could have been bairn saves bairn.

So, the journo asks ... what team do you support?

The guy tells him Rangers. The jurno, says that's a bit tougher, but, let me see what I can come up with.

The next morning the guy goes down the shops to get some bread.
He picks up the daily paper and the headline reads ...

"Orange bassstard kills family pet"
