Palmer Spurs if my last article bored you, look away they actually get worse………I don’t enjoy Towie, so what do I do? I don’t watch it
Ironically it is a Spurs player and an ex Chelsea Player that I think my OP (IMO) would most refer to. Would be Harry Kane and Frank Lampard JR.
When I look at both these players I have nothing but admiration for what they contribute or contributed in Super Frank’s case. But (sorry if you feel I am doing them a disservice) there was/is nothing about their natural ability that reallys stands/stood out. But I was like a dog with 2 whatsnames (and both hard) when we signed Lampard and I would be the same if we signed Kane.
Are there any players that fit the OP for you?

watched both there games against madrid, one of them against dortmund, there game against us, game against arsenal, as well as porbably 4 or 5 others. So yeah I see a fair few of spurs games, I watch a lot of football

Couldn't watch that much Spurs though.
The only other team in the prem I watch is Man U (not when they at home against wasteman teams)

Costa's one that springs to mind. Not spectular at anything from a technical standpoint, but good enough at everything to hold his own at any big club.
Muller's a great shout too (from the guy above me). Fantastic player who can't be pinned down to anything exceptional in his game. Just very good all round attacking player
