I was trying to lose fat and reduce weight

I have come to a standstill recently on my quest to lose 36 pounds of weight and lose fat.I have been exercising daily and watching my diet most of the time for the last 7 months and I have lost 26 pounds but now I have hit the wall and not everything is right.I cannot lose weight but now my weight has started increasing but my waist is becoming less as each day passes.I weighed 236 pounds but now I weigh 210 pounds but now I have gained about 6 pounds in last two weeks but my waist keeps shrinking and its now 40 inches when I have stopped exercising altogether due to a bad blister in my foot.Is it a good or bad thing? What should I do now to rectify the situation and again start losing weight.I was not doing strength training or weight lifting as my previous exercise routine.Views, fellas?

Tu Meke Santi they are good doctors but they are old school and they don't know much about modern research. Both of them were Member of Royal College of Physicians UK so they are very good professionals in their field. My country has arranged marriages and I could not marry the girl of my choice twice due to my parents' lack of action and now I am desperate to marry a girl even secretly as they will only let me marry when I am 35 years old.Currently I am 29 years old.

Ace that can't be practically done.My country is quite different from England.

It can't be done if people aren't willing to stand up for themselves and go against this religious nonsense

Personally I imagine I'd probably toe the line in your situation or leave the country as the repercussions for going against it are awful

Yes enlightened hippo but there are confusing videos on youtube on weight loss and fat loss subject. One of the videos was by a certain US doctor who suggested intermittent fasting allowing only two meals per day and then there are others suggesting eating in small portions after every 3-4 hours to increase body metabolism. So it can get a bit confusing for me and many other people trying to reduce weight.

He's right in that calories in vs out is what will cause weight loss or weight gain

Getting thinner doesn't necessarily mean getting healthier though and exercise is definitely becoming underrated due to peoples obsession with losing weight. Try to ignore fad diets and eat healthy food in smaller quantities than you usually do while supplementing this with a more active lifestyle

It's a slow process though and sounds like you've been doing well so keep it up

*even highly successful fad diets almost always lead to only short term results where people lose lots of weight but then put it back on afterwards
