So frustrating

Gave them 2 soft goals and for all their possession they barely laid a glove on us other than that.

I’ve defended Lukaku til now but you have to score that no excuses.

That’s the title done now.

The ref also played for them.

They created at least four clear cut chances in that half

This!

This idea that they created no chances is ridiculous!

When? Bernardo had two at the end that’s about it

They only created chances towards the end. United had the better chances

Well we had one great chance

Exactly and that’s more than City created.

City were the better team though and probably deserved to win. They get incredible luck though, whether it be last minutes wonder goals, scrappy goals, referee decisions.

They were the better side overall but we should’ve taken something

Sometimes you make your own luck. If you get your players in the right positions and the ball into the right areas I think you've always got a better chance of being lucky.

Counting the number of chances is pretty misleading.

City were always on the front foot while the scores were even, but their final ball was lacking throughout. They squandered a fair number of good positions more through their own bad decision-making and sub-standard passing at key times, than through good, solid defending on your part.

Then each time they took the lead, they let you have a go back at them.

They paid for it once, almost paid a second time. Should have had a penalty against too.

They were obviously happy to sit on a one-goal lead because even an equaliser kept you 8 points back, but I found their overall attitude pretty disappointing.

Props to United for keeping at your game. It wasn't pretty, but I don't think anyone was expecting jogo bonito from you. On another day you could've scraped a draw.

I hope Hafi didn’t read that out loud.
