thats not to take anything away from what he has done, but he had a very solid foundation to build on.

Silva
Fernandinho
Kompany
Sterling

is light years ahead compared to

Carrick
Jones ( never fit)
Fellaini
Schneiderlin
Depay.

Pep had 2 things to work on and that was his back 4 and keeper, the majority of others had played together for a while.

Jose had to pretty much rebuild 75% of the squad.

he has had a season and a half, but the improvement is there to see.

Jose has improved a fair few players this season but it's going to take time in getting them to fully adapt to this counter attacking style.
Martial,Rashford,Lingard,Lindelof,Young,Valencia,Matic have improved or refound their form.Hopefully they continue to do so throughout the season.

Maybe chit was a bit harsh, but why are you moaning?
Man U have NO excuse to not be up there challenging Pep's Man C, you have more or less the same resources, bigger stadium, similar caliber of players etc.
I don't understand the whole JM has walked into a mess and Pep has floated to this Man C team that was pre made for him to win the league is BS.

its not bullchit though, and to be fair, i wasnt moaning.

Jose walked into a mess when he joined the club.

Schneiderlin, Depay and schweinsteiger were all let go because they werent good enough.

we had a cb's who were fit one minute and injured the next.

we had no real experience up front.

we had a midfield of

Carrick
Fellaini
Schneiderlin
schweinsteiger.

Pep walked into a side that was already very capable of winning the league.

I dunno Dunc, you got rid of 3 players who weren't playing for you anyway.
The rest of your squad was nowhere near as bad as your making it.
You had players in there already that had won titles before, the managers that you've had have spent a lot of money on good players too, that JM is still playing now.
I believe right now, your squad (on paper) is as good as anyone's, but they are not being utilized correctly.
