I don't think anyone can argue that during a busy period you need to rotate but like Carra said yesterday the whole point of rotating is that the best players play in the big games.
Twice now in big games against Chelsea and Everton we rotated the team so much that it has cost us. These are the games where the so call Fab 4 (cringe) should be playing. What's the point having them if they not going to play?
Make changes against Stoke, Brighton etc is fine. The quality is there to beat them but to do this in the big games is wrong for me. There was a stat that sky put up regarding rotation and we were like 25 changes ahead of the 2nd placed team. None of the other top 6 were in that list.
That's 4 points dropped for me.

Shout out to Gomez though, he was brilliant yesterday, poor Niasse didn't get a kick of the ball, he's fast becming our best defender and this time at right back will do him the world of good, especially in becoming confident on the ball and taking it out of defense.

His ability on the ball has always been there. One of his main strengths. He needs games at CB in certain games. I'd rather see him playing there than Klaven with TAA at right back in games like yesterday.

He still has lots to prove though as a CB in a 2, he looks composed on the right of a back 3 but that's a different game to being one of a two.
But I'd have him start over Lovren or Klavan for sure.

Yeah...I also didnt really expect us to beat Everton which is why I think I'm a lot more chilled about this result.
