Pogba is key for us. He’s by far our best outfield player and if he’d played yesterday we’d have probably created more
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe. He has improved a lot but, that City side yesterday were a different gravy. if they had Aguero, i believe we would've been battered with or without Pogba

Aguero wasn’t there because the manager thought Jesus was the better option.

But he is not! Me and you both know that. Aguero has destroyed us like no other striker has in recent times

Shows how good they are that they didn't even need him.

Aguero might be better but Pep seems to think Jesus compliments his system better. Hard to argue with that.

Lukaku needed to be dropped. We don't even play to his strength and he is no Drogba.

We do have creative players but they either do not suit us or off form (Mata and Mhiki for example). Herrera was bought to bring in some, but turned in to a harrier rather than that. We've seen glimpses of it under LVG when he and Mata combined well. Blind has a good passing range but never used in his original position. Martial, Rashford and Lingard as a front 3 with 3 in the middle would have been better than Rashford on the right. Lingard works well with Rashford. Martial and Rashford can play up front or in the left and would be able to change positions during the match. Lukaku isn't on form and isn't holding up the ball well, so what he might bring wouldn't be a loss in his current form.

Matic, Herrera and one other in the middle would help. When all fit play Pogba, Matic and whoever is in form. And

For a tall side we rarely cross or take advantages of set pieces. It's ridiculous. Even Arsenal use Giroud's height and heading as an advantage with crosses. If we could get Sanchez from Arsenal, I'd love it as at least he can cross.

And Mourinho needs to evolve. He has become too predicable.

2nd in the league and he parks the bus AT HPME Some would say his tactic worked as they only conceded 2 goals but surely it aint the way forward.

The 2 goals came from Lukaku mistakes although the 1st goal they cleared fouled him.

In his first season he had a win ratio of 65% against the top 6 teams. You can try picture it however you want, that's not fluke.

Our issue was finishing and chance creation against small teams.

I said all along somebody like Ibra and Pogba would have turned a lot of draws into wins under LVG/.

Ibrahimovich and Pogba were the main Mourinho became the draw at home specialist.

Mean main reason Mourinho became the draw at home specialist.
