Swansea away

Could really do with 3 points as expect those around us to all pick up the maximum offering. Swansea are not in a good place, but I don’t think they’ll roll over for us - the blue print has been set as to how a lower table side can give us a dogged good game, even if they can only keep it up for two thirds or so.

Fernandinho and Sane both a booking away from a ban still, would you factor that in given we have Spurs next?

Walker Otamendi Danilo
Delph
Sterling Silva Gundogan KDB Jesus

Swansea and Palace worry me tbh.

Wouldn't surprise me if the unbeaten streak ended at Palace or Newcastle

I think City will win tonight.

For some reason I am confident about the Spurs game as well.

Regardless. If City don't kick on and win the league from this position now it would have to be deemed a catastrophic failure.

It'll all come out in the wash!

Anyone hear Marsh on the radio last night?
he was saying not to get Sanchez because of the mid season disruption he might cause. As an example he used his own transfer to City who before he signed mid season were well ahead in the league...they didn't win it. It was my fault he said so don't repeat history.

I wouldn't want to take Swansea lightly but would be tempted to rest Silva, Sane, Fernandihno and Jesus.

Bernard, Diaz, Gundogan and Sergio to come in.

Looks a nice run of games around Christmas time to maybe at least get another few points gap.

It would be nice if the league could be won in that second week of April where a certain team could give us a guard of honour.

On current form, i.e. points per game so far, the league could well be clinched on 03/03/2018 at home to Chelsea (the day before my Birthday)

Can't see City going unbeaten until then though. Never mind racking up enough points to have it in the bag that early.

Lots of thrills and spills to enjoy/endure yet

I reckon you will win tonight but can see Spurs getting something.

They tend to do well against you lot and I reckon they will win big again tonight to confirm their slump is over.

So a new record of 15 straight wins but no more IMO.

Then expect the “wheels have fallen off” wummage on ja.

Maybe if Chelsea or ourselves win every game remaining we have a chance....maybe.

It would take a huge collapse which I don't think Pep is capable of.

City probably need 15 wins (or 45 points), at most, from the remaining 22 games to take them north of 90 points.

On current form 85 points will be enough.

That gives them a lot of room for error, especially if you factor in the likelihood of others dropping points.

That said, the winning streak has to end some time and I can see it happening before the New Year.

You never know...

We are a bit thread bare in defence. Fernandinho would be a key miss for us, and he's close to a suspension. Hope Stones is taking care of that hamstring!

Would have played Gundogan and rested Fernandinho but there we go. Please don't let Bony actually do what he couldn't for us, and put the ball in the net.
