Head-to-head

Liverpool are unbeaten in their last eight Premier League games against West Brom (W4, D4).
However, Albion have scored in each of their last six league visits to Anfield, winning twice.
Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp's side are unbeaten in seven league matches, winning five.
Liverpool have gone 14 games without defeat at Anfield in all competitions since a 2-1 loss against Crystal Palace in April.
Only three of the 20 Premier League goals they have conceded this season have come at Anfield.
The Reds have scored 63 goals in their 25 competitive games this season. It's their highest tally since 1986-87, when they had 64 goals at this stage.
Mohamed Salah has scored 19 goals in 24 appearances for Liverpool, as many as he managed for Roma last season in 41 games.
Philippe Coutinho has been directly involved in 12 goals in his last 11 league games, scoring seven and setting up five.
West Bromwich Albion

West Brom are winless in 14 league games since August, failing to score in half of those matches (D7, L7). This is their longest run without a top-fight victory since a 16-match streak between February 2006 and August 2008.
The Baggies have gone 15 games without victory in all competitions, equalling the club record set in 1995-96.
Defeat at Swansea on Saturday ended a run of three successive draws.
Albion's only Premier League away win in 17 attempts this calendar year came at Burnley in August (D6, L10).
Their tally of 13 points is their lowest after 16 games of a Premier League season in nine years.
Chris Brunt could become the first player to make 250 Premier League appearances for West Brom.

Have the people on here saying we would've won against Everton with Coutinho, Mane, Salah and Firmino on the pitch had much to say?

Yeah, Verbal Diarrhoea now says it’s a lack of continuity that’s to blame.....

Seriously?

Two poor results at home but luck seems to have deserted us again after the stroke we had at Stoke the other week.

It’s a marathon and people forget that bad results happen.

Arsenal have had another away game without winning tonight so that’s ok, 9pts from 9 away games.

We are having our problems at Anfield now but have been behind at home for all of 3 mins this season so it’s not all bad.

Two away games now against teams who like to play so let’s see how we get on. They will be very different games to the last two.

It’s a long season and tonight doesn’t stop our objectives being achievable, it barely even makes them less likely.

Some tasty looking fixtures coming up against in form Leicester, Burnley and City in a month too. We will probably lose them all ay because we are shiiiit and have lost 3 games in 30 odd.

We’ve definitely had absolutely rubbish luck with refereeing decisions this season. The worst part is that it that won’t even itself out over the course of the season either.

It’s part of the game unfortunately and we have to fans it on the chin. Two poor results on the bounce.

Thought a couple of weeks ago we were starting to put these smaller sides away but it does seem to be a constant one step forward, two steps back process for us.

We were flying but Klopp made sure that stopped on Sunday, the last thing he wanted was momentum

I'd love to know who's played the most games against new managers in their first three games or something. We seem to get new manager bounced to fvck.

New manager bounced is now a phrase.

I'm still waiting on it evening out from the season we finished second behind City. I can't remember individual decisions that far back but remember it being crazy how many went against us. I believe that was the season Suarez scored an injury time winner against Everton only for them to disallow it for offside when he was on.

Oh god, I'm turning into Hafi.

Yeah but then we always seem to get managers sacked also. Perhaps it's just these things are easier to remember when it's your club who plays them.

I'm pissssed too. I actually feel sick. This was one bad decision too many for me. I can't cope.

I can't even go up and beat the wife as she's sleeping meaning it wouldn't be right.

"referee Paul Tierney rightly blew up for an accidental handball"

Oh so penalising unintentional handball are the right decision, who'd have fecking known it?! Wow.

From the FA website:-

HANDLING THE BALL

Handling the ball involves a deliberate act of a player making contact with the ball with the hand or arm.

So not only are the officials deciding not to follow the rules against us but now the media are telling everybody they were right in doing so?

I bloody give up.
