Ordinarily one would call this a 6 pointer but I don't think of it as such. Call me a pessimist but I don't think it will make any difference to our fate at the end of the season. I am comfortable with that.

I was more anxious when we were just outside the botton 3 than now at the bottom, probably resigned to our fate anyway might get a 1-1 draw

Another defeat is on the cards I am afraid although I am not going so there is a chance of a Brewers win - I have not seen one since September.

Feels like a must win today and I am hoping for some of last season's resolve in pulling out a result when we need it most.
Sign of the times when we see Bolton Wanderers away as a must win.
10 years ago this weekend Bolton were beaten 4-2 in from of 40,000 at the City of Manchester Stadium whilst we were beating Colwyn Bay in front of 382 in the F A Trophy! Nigel was in charge of course, with a young full back called Brayford!
We won 2-1 with a rare brace from Jake Edwards for those with long memories.
So let's go for a 2-1 away win. Who is going to be Jake?

Remaining optimistic, though probably naïve and going for an Albion win.
Bolton 1 Albion 2
