If so, are you glad Amazon does not have a section on it that tells you the exact amount you’ve spent on it since day 1?
As a nation we seem to slate it for ‘tax avoidance’ etc. But I must have spent thousands on it over the years.
It all started because I lived in the arse-end of nowhere and if it weren’t in the Woolworths in Berwick, then you’d have to chance either a 50-60mile journey to Edinburgh or Newcastle.
Nowadays I keep hearing “Amazon has killed the high street". Really? I just thought It was a simple case of a lot of shops becoming ‘one stop shops’ and there’s not so much need for specialised stores any more.

thing is, it's just to damned easy to use and accessible. even back in 2003 my mindset pretty much became.... "Amazon will have it".

Ebay is well dodgy, fraudsters can hijack an account and try and sell non-existent items on them. I know someone who was minutes away from buying a motor home, only to have second thoughts because he thought the deal was too good to be true. Ebay rang a day later telling him the account had be hacked.
