So what does everyone make of the news of the past few days with Disney buying out 21st Century Fox, Sky and BT agreeing to sell their sports channels and others on each others services, and Amazon potentially looking into taking the rights to broadcast the PL?
Is any of what's happening a good thing? Do we want things to remain the same? Do we want a tech company like Amazon to take the PL rights off Sky and BT? Or should everything just be free?
Personally if Amazon took the PL rights and then put their service cost up from 8 pound to say 16 a month, that's still over half the price of Sky or BT
Fox, Sky, Disney, BT, Amazon etc.

But Amazon wouldn't take the PL rights. They would take a share, and BT and Sky would still have a share.
Suddenly you have to have even more subscriptions to be able to watch your own league.
The "Monopoly/Competition Law" is meant to give consumer choice - but we don't get the choice of what we can or cannot watch on a singular platform.
No wonder the streaming sites continue to grow.

As long as Pogba dances then I am more than happy to pay £200 a month to whoever wants it. Hopefully next season it goes up to £250 so we're guaranteed £50 extra best ever a month.

Barry is drinking the good stuff.
I preferred him in his student days.

Amazon have a deal with the NFL andshowed Thursday night games with Prime as well as it still being shown on TV.
It’s been great for work!
But it would be a deal similar to that I’d imagine.
Prem is too big.
Maybe Snooker can look to do something with them..

Be hilarious if sky got fack all and it all got carved up by FB and Amazon offering it for peanuts to punters.
