We're all fighting for the scraps off......

City's table this season.

Or that's how it feels to me. I found myself cursing the Leicester Manager last night for not playing his best side and taking the opportunity to eliminate what is the best side in the country (by far and away) at this time.

Will we all close the gap? Not this season.

From a Chelsea point of view i think the biggest thing we could do now is show faith in our coach, give him a contract extension if he wants one and give him the time, if we're not gonna give him the money to build the Chelsea the owner and the rest of us want.

I actually think the League Cup has become very big for all the 'chasing pack' this season and has made Poch's logic in his comments after losing to West Ham, even more baffling to me.

I think the only sensible thing to do is just stop the season now and give City all the trophies, I mean no team on the planet is remotely capable of challenging them

A lot of red Mancs very upset that they didn’t win the title in August after all.

We lost the league first game of the season by losing to burnley you think our best teams of 05/06 would of lost a game like that. Unfortunately champions don't and we proved this year we weren't at the races. Maybe not selling Costa early last summer was a mistake.

Burnley to be fair have shown they were worth their early season win..

Morata has filled the Costa gap in general... .we really could have and should have pushed for Sanchez though

It appears to be City's year this year, so what, it's rare winning back to back titked, I'm grateful we've won 2 of the last 3. I'm hoping for 2nd now and a decent run in Europe then we can go at the league again next year.

As I've said to you before, Pochettino doesn't need the LC from the prospective of his own self interests. The fact Spurs beat Real 3-1 earlier this year would've done more for his reputation than winning a 2nd tier cup competition.

The only losers if Spurs don't start winning trophies sooner rather than later are the club itself. Pochettino can pretty much walk into any big job at this point (bar Barca maybe for political reasons), and most top teams would happily take anyone from their first XI tomorrow. One way or another the majority of their personnel will have medals to count by the time they retire, whether it's with Spurs or not.
