I thought it'd be interesting to combine the English, French, German, Italian and Spanish league tables into 1 as it would give an indication on who is heading into the new year in the best form.
As games played varies from league to league (some teams have only played 16, others 22) I've arranged the order on average points per game, this is the table:
1. City - 2.81
2. Barca - 2.65
3. PSG - 2.63
4. Napoli - 2.53
5. Juventus - 2.47
6. Munich - 2.41
7. Roma - 2.17
8. Inter - 2.16
9. Monaco - 2.16
10. Lyon - 2.16
11. Chelsea - 2.14
12. United - 2.14
13. A Madrid - 2.12
14. Lazio - 2.06
15. Liverpool - 2.00
16. Valencia - 2.00
17. Marseille - 2.00
18. R Madrid - 1.94
19. Spurs - 1.85
20. Arsenal - 1.81
Interesting to see that similar to our league there seems to be three 'mini leagues' - then there's Arsenal and Spurs.
Obviously this has to be taken with a big pinch of salt - competitiveness of the overall league will play a big part in how the table comes together - for example there's 4 Italian teams in the top 8, whereas only 1 German team in the top 20.
Still, some interesting anomolies - Madrid clearly off form, no Dortmund and Inter returning to power?

Serie A getting back to strength. Top 5 teams all capable of competing with the top 6 teams in England. AC Milan will be back up there sooner or later.
