When stars go!!

The thing that pksses me off about these transfers to Spain is that I no longer get to see these players play.

I loved Suarez, Ronaldo was great to watch and now Phil.

I rarely watch any Spanish football (no time) so these players are amongst the best in the world and I never get to see them.

Saddens me really, don't even get me started on PSG.

I don't see what's wrong with what Suarez did. Our players do that all the time.

Furthermore, he is a Barca player and wants the best for Barca and himself, and rightfully so. We love him for his service to us but you have to be reasonable, he is a Barca player now, playing for the absolute club of his dreams. Same as Coutinho. His loyalty is to them not Liverpool.

I'd be livid if a player at Liverpool didn't do such stuff to help out the club if it would make a difference.

It is a cycle.

Spain best two had one hell of a long ride bossing other European and SA clubs and taking their best players - they may have another year or two still...

I think the power will eventually shift back to the English clubs - City / Tottenham / Chelsea / Liverpool and United are all coming back strong - you can see their good performance presence in the CL compared to the last few years dismal status - they got good quality players and will continue doing so...PSG is another club that will continue magnet pulling elite players as long as the sheikh is in charge,

I’m really surprised that Pool fans still love Suarez so much.

He couldn’t wait to ditch them, even trying to move to Arsenal before heading to Barcelona.

Now he’s been one of the main driving forces in moving Coutinho, working tirelessly over the months to ensure that Barcelona kept up their pursuit and disregarding Liverpool’s insistence they would not sell

He sounds to me like a total thundercant but Pool fans still worship him and would love to have him back

Dont worry about it.

Liverpool fans recognize the 110% he gave while at the club.

Also if your mate was at another club and wanted him to join you youd do the same thing.

What didnt waver was Luis commitment and passion when he pulled on a red jersey.

Each fan is different but I think Suarez fits more into the appreciated category than loved. His talent demanded appreciation and despite wanting to move on, his commitment on the pitch was never questioned.

Ultimately that’s all you really want in a player, talent and commitment. He moved on to a club that is objectively bigger and better than we were (as has Coutinho), where’s the sense in hating him for it?

Suarez gave us magic moments and the fans appreciate that. And as a fan, I’d take him back in a heartbeat because he’s a sensational player. In terms of players the fans love, I doubt Suarez would be too close to the top of many lists. Certainly not mine. Miles away from the likes of Gerrard, Dalglish, Carra, Hyypia, Barnes etc.

My main point is that I can't watch these players week in week out the same as i did with the Prem and thats just sad.

Yes i could watch La Liga but it takes ages to know players in all the other teams to really appreciate the skill which Barca or Madrid players have.

In years to come my 4 years son will ask me, You must have loved watchign a team with Messi, Suarez etc. I will simple turn to him and say, "well i didn't really seem them play that much"
