I've come across countless articles slating talents from Ozil to more recently Lacazette. I've also come across countless articles about how the likes of Aubameyang and Mbappe would be a dream.
We've been linked with a bright talent in Malcolm as a recplacement for the departing Sanchez. Truth is, no matter which talent we bring in, they will not flourish.
Wenger made a name for himself as the talent nurturer. Yes he may have had some ability in working with these talents one to one. But the underlying factor which allowed players like Henry, Vieira and Cesc to develop was the balance and solid foundation in those teams they played in.
They had great players around them which supported them and they learnt from. I'd even go as far to say if we signed a 20 year old Henry today, he would not become the legend he became due to the toxic environment surrounding the club.
This team needs a clear out (including the manager).

The Schadenfreude used to be enjoyable but it's getting increasingly sad.
Only so long you can enjoy the humiliation before you start feeling bad, i feel I have reached that point with Arsenal. It's went on long enough and the fans need to be able to reclaim their club from the French Dictator and the American profit skimmer.
Hope you at the very least get a new manager this summer.

I agree, we certainly need a clear out and it should start with the manager.
Some of the players will be salvageable but I am not bothered who goes anymore. I am done with this bunch of puzzies and stale old man.
