Earlier I the summer we were told that the reason we couldn't sign anyone was due to some rule about not increasing your wage bill by a certain percentage every year.
Question is was this all bull or are we still on the wage bill grind? Coquelin has gone, Walcott looks to be going, Sanchez almost gone to Manchester. Ozil aint signing chit. Still no new contract for Jack/Ramsey.
Still time to get rid of players like Dubuchy and co.
We only signed 2 players in the summer and lost quite a few, surely we should be massively under any so called budget.
Wage Bill Grind..

Don't think there's any rule regarding a club's wage bill.

That whole thing was nonsense in regard to Arsenal

Either way I'm happy to get rid of some sh!t players like Walcott and Coquelin. Should have happened last year.

The clubs wages and financial rules make hardly any sense anyway. We’re always more than happy to pay average players way more than their worth, and reward youngsters huge money after about 3 good games, yet we are stingy paying money out for quality players on transfers and wages.

Arsenal’s turnover is third highest and are fourth regarding their wages bill in the epl. So their T/O vs wages ratio is probably 2:1. I know they have other expenses to cover, but they are probably a small fraction of their wage bill. In Arsenal’s case it’s the shareholders who creaming it off, instead of investing some of the monies they are earning back to the football club. This kinda business model will gradually bring the club down to its knees

The board don’t really care about the long term for this club. Most of them will be dead within about 5 years. Just milking it while they still can

Arsenal were completely screwed over by this as the limits were set based on finances during the perod we were paying stadium debt so our wage bill was lower than it would otherwise have been Clubs like City and Chelsea who were paying higher wages were automatically put in a position where they could keep paying higher wages than anyone else.
