Keita vs. Goretzka at the Red Bull Stadium

No match for us today but over in Germany something significant may happen that could affect us. Rumours are the babelcopter has been deployed and Mr Edwards is in Germany trying hard to get Keita to come in this window.

Its likely that if successful then Keita wont play in the match today...so something to keep an eye on; plus Goretzka may well line up and we could see what all the fuss is about.

Maybe two players that could soon be wearing the red of Liverpool???

Hounslows, I have to say I enjoyed watching Liverpool in the one game I saw them in this season. Oh and their were 80,000 Spurs fans, less the 3,000 Liverpool fans there to watch.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry, should there have been 80,000 Liverpool fans instead at an away game?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Well seeing as there has never ever been 60,000 at a Liverpool home league game in their entire history. I think we can safely say no.

£350 was a piff take but they were basing it on 19 league games and lots of home cup games.

So we found a place on a birds drive and used to give her kids £10 a game.

Spurs the only club in English football history, other than Man United at average over 50,000 in a season on four or more occasions.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Absolute rubbish Sandy. Lies

Arsenal have averaged over 50k 12 times and Newcastle 15.

Also, Liverpool have not had a crowd as low as Spurs this season. 44k for a Premier league game at £20/£8 tickets on offer, Liverpool sell out 54k every week.

And Spurs have the record for the lowest ever crowd at Wembley: 23k v Barnsley.

If someone.....anyone can tell me wtf spurs fans have to mock us about, because in EVERY area they are massively inferior to us....by orders of magnitude almost.

Massively inferior, despite always finishing in front of Liverpool. Spurs even get bigger crowds.

Liverpools`s biggest ever home crowd in their entire history, has been beaten several times by Spurs, and that is JUST THIS SEASON. Big club my arris.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think you're that stupid that you actually are serious when you talk about crowds this season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Spurs record crowd even at WHL 75,000. Liverpool's barely over 60,000. Minuscle.

Wembley just gives Spurs a chance for their bigger support to get to see a match.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

If that’s true and spurs have the larger fan base and are a much larger club then the club is appallingly run because your income is nowhere near Liverpool’s.

So either spurs are appallingly run or you’re talking out of your ‘arris. And I believe spurs to be a well run club.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Spurs have always had a larger fan base than Liverpool, throughtout most of their history. Liverpool's fan base only built up in the 1970s and 1980s.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Apart from the fact that Liverpool averaged bigger crowds than Spurs every season from 1963-70

Spurs really using Wembley crowd size as a barometer of stature of club?

Bit phoney when the club have to pay to play at Wembley.

Rather use appearances when a club is invited to play there.

Kane is on the way out if there are no trophies inbound.

I should have said when teams are leading the averages for a season. Arsenal have never led the averages with their 60,000 averages. Neither have Newcastle wuth their modern 50,000 crowds.

Liverpool had a similar fanbase to you in 20s and 30s, and a bigger fan base than you in 40s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s.

The only time Spurs’s crowds were bigger than Liverpool consistently was 50-63

Spurs finish second for the first time in 50 years and Sandy is jizzing his kecks over how good they are. Lets put this into perspective shall we. We could have one man and his dog turn up at Anfield for home games for the rest of the season. Spurs still would’ve won less league titles, European Cups, UEFA Cups and League Cups (the only ‘poxy’ trophy Spurs have won in over 25 years) than Spurs.
