Mo Salah Player of the season for me

KDB and Kane up there as well but then you think This guys plays on the wings and the amount of goals and assist he has created he should win it for me.

What a game as well today and I would not have been surprised if we threw it away at the end. We also showed we can be a threat without Coutino as well.

Was a foul. But Liverpool were at home. That's football

I wish that you'd told other ref's about this rule this season. We'd be at least 6 points clear of you if that was the case.

Well, that's sport. You don't always get the decisions. No point in getting worked up about it. City fans aren't

Fish, I agree with your appreciation of the Stones foul - it was a barge in the back, and not a fair shoulder to shoulder challenge.

It just seems to be the trend that those things are allowed to ride more often than not, and you just have to take it as it comes.

My comments regarding Silva are because I think he has the experience and reading you'd have needed to better handle the tempo of the game.

Not taking any credit away from Liverpool, because they obviously pushed you into your mistakes and made sure you were never comfortable. Nevertheless, up until the Firmino goal imo it had more or less been even stevens, with each team havinh the upper hand at different spells.

After L'pool retook the lead though, there was a complete lack of poise that a level head like Silva's could have helped bring to the game.

You were crying out loud for someone to try slow down the tempo of the game with some short, safe passing in midfield in order to gain a foothold, as you had tons of time not just to equalise, but to win the game.

You lost your heads though, everyone was in a hurry to get upfield, when your men in midfield should have been getting close to crate lines and give each other simple passing options.

That's where I felt Gundogan and KdB failed you. Fernandinho had a shaky afternoon from start to finish, but I don't think that was exclusively of his own doing.

Am I worked up then?

No, not at all. Why would you be. You got the 3 pts.

Don't understand why No Love is so rattled... hormones maybe??

I actually KDB was still the best player in the pitch but you gotta love Salah. A goal and assist and even Mane is back.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Seriously ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes he was excellent
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Right.
Most other reporters and commentators from that game didn't see that, but fair enough.
Thought he was overwhelmed, lost possession a number of times, and beyond the last 10 minutes of the games, which was lost by then, did very little.
What yesterday's game showed, that beyond trying to replicate what Liverpool did, which is not possible for most teams in this league, just simple hard work, closing down and confronting city further up the pitch, might give you a chance.
City will still probably over come this type of approach due to their quality, but simply sitting in your own half, allowing their back four, and the likes of KDB all the time in the world to use their qualities, certainly isn't for me the way forward.
Having read a lot of the reviews of yesterday's game, most journalists, and commentators who rated players performances were generally giving KDB a 5 or a 6.
Even beyond these hit and miss ratings, having seen some of the performances from Liverpool's players, to say KDB was the best player on the pitch, is quite remarkable.

There wasn't a single outfield City player that outperformed any of the outfield Liverpool players in my book

It was just a bad day at the office. Liverpool had a game plan and it worked.

KDB had his moments but apart from the first 10-15 minutes of the second half, Liverpool outperformed City.

They were just better.

======
Absolute hogwash
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why so touchy?

When you are at home you expect to get home town decisions.

It's called home advantage.

Even if ref had blown up and score had stayed at 1-1, you possibly would have won anyway.

It's only 3 points and City can afford to drop them anyway
=========
So me saying your point is hogwash is being touchy? Man, you spout so much nonsense.

The decision had nothing to do with home advantage. You can out it down to incompetence or whatever but home advantage?

Fack off.
