Ok a bit of a slight exaggeration with the title but the big clubs certainly have their ways to get what they want.
I see Chelsea had an injunction against them to stop renovating Stamford Bridge by a family who claimed the new bigger stadium would block light into their property, which is a given right under either UK law or a London by-law.
What do Chelsea do?
Get the council to buy a bit of the land as you apparently cannot get an injunction against the local authority.
I feel the Disney movie Up would have been a bit more disappointing if it were set in London......

The freedom of light regs in London are antiquated and should be scrapped altogether or amended

If the family have lived in the property for years and had to put up with Chelsea fans every other weekend for 50 years til 2002 then the gloryhunters every other weekend for the past 16 years then they should be honoured.
I believe 28% of the new stadium is for corporate/hospitality customers the biggest % of any ground in the world, I think arsenal were second at 16%

Loved the one about the martial arts expert building a stairway with nunchuks and threatening to beat up any developers who tried to chuck them out
