There are lots of cliches in football but this game makes me think of a factor in our season which might be slightly different to last. There is absolutely no hard evidence of this that I am about to write whatsoever.
Last season it seemed (in hindsight) that we got quite a lot of clubs at a good time and picked up points here and there as a consequence. It has happened occasionally this season (Reading and Sheffield Wednesday) but in my opinion not as much as last.
Which returns us to this game. Awful time to be playing Fulham !

very poor show last week my worry is that if we gown down we might do a coventry and blackpool and go straight thro to div 2 in fact we looked a div 2 side against qpr. going for a 1-1 draw with our new boy getting the equaliser after coming on as sub

After a depressing performance last week I hope for better - mainly because we are away. However Fulham are on a good run so I see them being too strong and that we will lose 2.1.

Well all that was shocking - my yellow tinted glasses have definitely disappeared.
I was at Bristol rovers and port vale but I have not felt like I do at present wating for my train into central London
I'm so disappointed I have already purchased my tickets for the next two away games because I would seriously consider not going.
I'm not even going to listen to clough post match interview might make me more desperate for a beer.

Port Vale is the only Brewers game that I have left before the final whistle. I was at Bristol Rovers too. I could not stand seeing L** H****s celebrate his goals given his past.
Bristol Rovers was fine. It was more funny than anything. Every shot they had went in and every ricochet went their way.

i was not surprised that we lost to Fulham, but i was very disappointed with the total collapse .At 3-0 the game was lost, but come on NC it was time to shut up shop and go home and put it down to a bad day at the office Most teams in league 1 & 2 would not have taken a 6-0 thrashing. i was at Portvale and its horrible to see your teams heads go down.
i still want us to be playing in the Championship next season, but its not looking great at this moment in time.
