Everton vs Albion

Pleased with how quickly Pardew has got us playing. Thought it would take a lot longer. While we could and probably should have won it, a point at Everton isn't to be looked down on.

Whether we stay up or not I don't know. But anyone should be able to see the improvement and the fact we no longer dread most weekends.

If we can just find a forward in the next week...

I've said it before and i'll say it again. A new striker is likely to be the difference between us staying up and getting relegated.

Worryingly we need to sell before we buy due to FFP (take note Wolves fans).

Just a quick question lads it said on WM last night you sold all 1800 tickets for the FA cup Liverpool game, which confused me because being the FA cup surely they have to give you more than a normal number? I asked an Olbion mate but he didn't know why either.

I don't get it either. I'm not convinced the rules are being followed.

We only got 300 for the Exeter match (5%) but the away allocation should be a minimum of 15%. The only exception i'm aware of is if the local Safety Advisory Group think there's a risk involved.

Albion's allocation should in fact be about 8,000.

That's what I thought, I found it strange a team like Liverpool only giving 1800 tickets for a cup game surely they have to giverify more?

The thing is chap, when you have been in the Premier league for as long as we have a Saturday night trip to a place you have been loads of times before to watch your second team play is not that exciting. I can see why a lower league team like Wolves would take more as it would be a novelty to play at Anfield. Unfortunately Wolves lost to the worst team in the Premier league, so won't have that chance.

It's actually Albions fault, this one.

They asked for the smallest allocation. The options were 1800, 3000, 5000 and 8000 and Albion asked for the smallest. That allocation sold out in just a few days and the club has faced a backlash over this.

The club said with us visiting Anfield just last month, with it being sandwiched in between trips to Goodison and The Etihad, with it being a 7.45pm kick off on a Saturday and no return trains after 9pm...the demand wouldn't be high.

How wrong they were. Tickets didn't even make it past away ST holders and members....never mind home ST holders and general sale. Major blooper by the club.

Legacy. ..I wasn't taking the mick I was genuinely asking as I thought they had to offer more tickets and found it strange.

Not exactly the first time this has happened. The Brighton allocation was cut by 400 earlier this season, and it's happened several times before as well. As said above we could have easily shifted loads more if the club weren't so restrictive.
