Great result but if you look through the performance today it was down to Hazard, Willian and Kante and that's about it contributing offensively, we get almost nothing from Alonso/Moses.
Bakayoko has to go. He is not good enough, sure maybe he can improve but he appears to be scared to be in possession. That's not good enough at Chelsea and he really can't be in the side. He's even pedestrian when we're not on the ball. He can only pass backwards because he's too scared to take responsibility.
On the bright side Musonda looked decent when he came on, pretty sure he didn't give the ball away once which puts him ahead of 50% of the team. The assist was class, Fabregas-esque. I really hope he gets more minutes, he looked really comfortable on the ball.
Also Hazard is on another level. Slowly getting towards that Messi/Ronaldo level. Need to do everything we possibly can to keep him here.

He's world class. There aren't many better other than Messi and Ronaldo. He isn't as good as them now but he could be, and he is heading in the right direction.

Bats showed glimpses but not enough. I'm dying for Baka to click as I refuse to believe we bought a player in the knowledge he is this bad. Then play him every fackin week

An average performance today. Going forward we were better but defensively we were a mess. After going 2-0 ahead it could have easily been 4-2 to Brighton before we scored our 3rd and killed the game off. They created and missed chance after chance. Alonso and Moses were really poor at stopping crosses coming in.

I thought our performance today was very loose and quite sloppy in parts. Yes Hazard, Willian and co. We're on fire but several players kept giving the ball away cheaply Cabellero had moments of brilliance and moments of comedy.

the ref helped masively.
hazard is such a frustrating player because this game shows why he can be a game changer and match -winner and completely unstoppable
no disrespect to brighton but they are not exactly a tough opposition
if he does it tuesday night in a cup semi vs huge city rivals then i will give hazard the respect he deserves.

He's already done that before. He put Spurs to the sword last season in the FA Cup Semi Final in a game against an opponent who certainly turned up on the day and were better in terms of possession than Chelsea were on the day.
I have watched Hazard many times and have seen many examples to illustrate that he is certainly NOT a player who doesn't turn up for big games, he often has, but he is a player who when he is out of form as he has been recently he can underperform for 4-5 games on the spin and it could easily be against less celebrated opposition.
