DPL - Bristol Rovers

I haven't had time to look at what is being said from the two camps I'm afraid, so I'll leave it to others to comment.

We should expect to win in the sense that we OUGHT to as opposed to really believing that we will because our ability to focus from the start always seems in doubt.

I wonder if Lawlor might be given a rest; if there were true competition in that position Marosi really deserves a chance, but unlike everyone else in the team he seems untouchable.

So based on how we ought to preform I'll say 2-0 and Beestin with 8000 there.

Wish I had checked the errors before clicking on send.
Also should have said the the Lawlor detractors should take note of the number of fine saves he made to keep us in the game.

Hound he is costing us goals most weeks. He is defensively inept. If I could be bothered I would provide the highlights from numerous games to proce this.

When everyone is fit and available he won't be anywhere near starting.

Agree there number 9 was a crafty fouled and often got away with numerous sly shots at us. He definitely shouldn't have been on the pitch to score the 3rd but as mentioned we missed a couple of excellent chances.

Lawlor did play well today with at least 3 class saves.

Hound your summary was absolutely perfect.
Azza you should hold yr head in shame.
To lamblast mason in that way is nothing short of embarrassing and a disgace you obviously no nothing about football.
You are having a go at a YOUNG LAD who is not a centre back who has been asked to play right back left back left mid and right midfield.
You should hold your head in shame.
Or actually understand football .
Shocking

Oh Lanza take your comments and shove them.

You suffer from selective playerism as I'll call it. Ie the ones that play well get spouted yet the ones who are terrible you say they're players of the season

I know absolutely plenty on football I've played at a decent level have my refereeing badges and watch numerous games not always rovers so your comment on that is trash.

He's been schooled at Real Madrid he should have a touch of class about him but he doesn't. But how would I know that I know nothing about football?

Every set piece he's a liability he doesn't even attempt to head the ball and as I say dallies all the time.

When Fergie has a fully fit squad he doesn't start will that mean you won't go anymore as your player of the season is not playing?

More and more people are waking up and seeing this so we can't all be wrong!

I do not have a fixation with any player.
I openly said Blair was my player of the season last this season I'm afraid he is looking poor.
In August i was open minded as most of our players are developing.
Mason has been outstanding at right back.
Shocking at left back.
And occasions when played in Houghtons role he was exceptional.
To measure his ability when asked to play CB when what is he 5ft 8ish is ridiculous.
Even his co CB alcock is not much taller so he wasn't going to get help there.
In south stand he appears quite popular now .
I belive hound has also been singing his praises.
How old is he 21?
How many other players does DF play in 4 different positions.

Lanza I don't want to fall out with you we'll just draw a line under it. If players play well they get credit if not they get criticised. I said last week when he moved to right back against shrews he had a decent 2nd half. Sadly I don't think he's consistent enough.

I don't think Alcock and Mason are a strong enough CB partnership to get us through the next few months. McCullough can play at CB, although I don't think it is his best position. Garrett can also play there and Amos was very composed as a CB in the Checkatrade game I saw. Is it time to blood the young players?

Come on Lanza, you wuss.
I was at the Rovers in a mobility scooter and a wheelchair in 2010 after I broke my leg and ankle.
In fact, I was at a match in 2013 just two weeks after open heart surgery.
Get yersen to the KMS.
