Is it time for us to try

3 at the back plus the two wing backs

Van Diijk, Gomez and either Lovren or Matip..

Gomez looked very comfortable playing for England this way and it might male us a bit more solid don’t see how it would have a negative impact on our attack..?

What does anyone else think??

Pick five players from the poorest part of the clubs squad? No thanks.

A fair point.

I think we should try the 442 again.

Ox on the left. Mane on the right and Salah playing off Firmino.

We have not one midfielder who takes control, organises, sets the pace of the game, calms
Everyone down, leads the team...

That's some player though.

Coutinho?

.....

Played many games where we collapse in epic proportions absalute excellet player technically brilliant has it all, not a leader of great mental strength when the going got tough though one of the worst offenders of the head going down when the going got tough...

Really. Did Couts head go down when going got tough?

I would say so he certainly managed to disappear in matches at times, one of the worst I remember was that semi final against Aston Villa scored in the first half..

Disappeared second half...

Quote from Europa League final second half

Klopp's problems were compounded by the failure of his creative players to put their stamp on the game. Philippe Coutinho barely had the ball while Firmino was subdued and substituted.

These are the games where the real big name players are supposed to stand up and be counted take the game by the scruff of the neck, pull it back, Steven Gerrard did it time and time again as brilliant as Coutinho is he never was, never has and never will be that player...

Can Keita be the player?

I really hope so be he also is quite young he certainly has drive and determination and looks like a bit of a bully in midfield who can win the ball back with ease in the kante type mould.. Also I have seen him come up with the goods for Leipzig time and again.. my opinion on Coutinho is right though got to admit that... I actually think it will be interesting at Barca in the next few years Suarez and Messi are quickly approaching their mid 30’s by then Coutinho will be the main man. Does he have the mental strength to carry the expectations of Barcelona on his shoulders? My honest opinion is no he doesn’t.. because like for like quality they are never going to replace Suarez and Messi with players or even close ability to what they have and this is not me being bitter I genuinely believe his real weakness is his mental strength...
