I think in my entire life I've maybe left early about three or four times. As the ball nestled in the net to give Morton a three goal cushion, I had absolutely no hesitation in nodding to my dad, getting to my feet, and leaving the ground. And to be honest I had been thinking about leaving from half-time.

We have had a series of horrendous performances ever since the last few months of the Jackie era and this was up there with the worst of them. And what worries me the most is that not one player on that park seemed to give a single shiiit that it was happening.

The third goal summed it up. A Morton player walking past four United players who didn't even consider making a challenge on him before slotting it home. So unbelievably easy. But to be honest the whole game was so easy for Morton. We didn't look interested.

I was happy with the Laszlo appointment but I'm becoming more and more baffled by his selections, particularly playing McDonald as a number 10 when he is not that type of player. He was awful but I don't blame him. He's a penalty box player and we play him 30 yards from goal.

Laszlo's signings are also baffling. Mikkelson? He was rotten in his first spell then couldn't get a game for a terrible Ross County team. Lyng looks like a dumpling with a terrible first touch. I'm pretty sure a pigeon landed on him at one point.

I honestly don't even know what to say. I'm not even sure why I bother going any more. The title is obviously gone and to be honest I'm now concerned that we might slide down the league and out of the play-off slots, it's that bad. We certainly won't be getting promoted.

It continues to be a tough, tough time to be an Arab.

Hi Ivan

Wee Jum

My early season bet on who would finish above who between St Mirren and Dundee Utd is looking good right now.

Genuinely though I fear for St Mirren getting promoted, I think it is a season too early and they will be comfortably beaten by most in the top tier if they hold on to top spot.

Looks like the league is won for them now, can’t see us or any other team clawing that back.

Interesting about it being a season too early, their most important player in almost all of their wins has been Lewis Morgan, take him out the team and they’re really no great shakes, which of course is exactly what’s happening when he moves to you guys at the end of the season. Unless they can recruit well I think they’ll struggle - too many teams have been around the dogfight/scrap block who will still be there you would imagine - Partick, Hamilton, Dundee etc. I don’t know how they are cash wise when it comes to having to sign players to do a job for them.

I think it'll be a stroll to the title for Saints now. We've just crumbled.

It's a shame because it was shaping up to be a really exciting league.

Like last season all over again - got to the top of the league then bottled it and could hardly buy a win for weeks on end, costing us not only the title but 2nd place (and the round fewer of playoff matches that comes with it).

Splendid result

You might still get a play-off spot. If you’re lucky

Its about time ivan understood the realitt of the situation.

They are a championship team now, no more or less.

Its where they belong.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes, we are a Championship.

Yes, it's where we belong.

With performances and a team like that, we don't belong in the Premiership.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You don’t belong in the championship with results like that

In other news, I see former Dundee United hero (and slayer of Rangers when he scored after 14 seconds in the first game we played them after they, well, you know..), Johnny Russell is about to leave Derby and go to the MLS.

Good luck to him. Still only 27 too.

Such a tender age to end his career. Shame
