Huddersfield Town 0 v 3 Liverpool

Huddersfield Town v Liverpool
Tues 30 Jan 2018 at the John Smith's Stadium
8pm kick off

It's actually this Saturday, if you go by the HTFC preview on the website, woeful, just like the current run of form! Probably updated by the time you check, I have 'tweeted' HTFC to let them know they've made a teats up.

OK, what will the Town fans expect from this match? Realistically, fook all! Town were a shambles against Birmingham City in the FA Cup, they could have lost and won the match in the very dying embers of the encounter. Performances are bizarre, why continue to play the same way week in week out when matches are being lost or drawn? Surely, a manager of Wagner's supposed talent would change things to improve upon. Last Saturday, Town had an opportunity to progress to round five, a potential win and a much needed distraction from a potentially disastrous season in the Premier League. No, unable to do that, Wagner sticks with his tried and failed formation and selecting crap players who have no place in the Premier League. Hefele and Malone take a bow! You two combined, nearly put Town out of the FA Cup with your antics.

What will the Reds fans expect? Another comfortable win against an under performing team. The previous EPL encounter and score line between the teams actually flattered Liverpool, in my opinion. Town were a threat earlier in the season and showed no fear to the BIG clubs. Mistakes were made, but Town played better then, now, confidence is shot and Wagner appears to have no idea how to get the lads scoring goals and how to play with attacking intent.

So, Liverpool fans, Town will roll over upon invite and have their little Terriers' bellies tickled, thank you very much. The Terrier identity is now non existent. As Wagner says, we are a small dog! What happens to small dogs when the big dogs arrive? I'll leave it to your imaginations, I'd probably be banned if I wrote any more to enlighten you!

Last six matches played in the Premier League, Town DDDLLL and Liverpool DWWWWL, no prizes for guessing who the inform team is!

Are Liverpool fans cursing the loss of Coutinho to Barcelona? He is a phenomenal player and thankfully he will not be menacing Town's defence. However, Salah is a fantastic player and he will be a threat along with others from Liverpool's squad.

How many Liverpool fans are travelling over the border in to West Yorkshire? I'm not sure if you will have the whole of the South Stand, as Town fans are also located there too. It will be interesting to know what the actual gate attendance will be tomorrow night, as many Town fans did not attend the home fixture against Birmingham City in the FA Cup clash. Fans seem to be voting with their feet in regard to the abject lack of entertainment being dished out presently by Wagner and Co.

Liverpool fans, you may have heard the Town fans sing 'David Wagner, he's better than Klopp', that won't be sung, unless you forget to put a team out!

Now, do I drag myself out of bed for 4am to tune in to potentially witness an absolute slaughter? Or do I change my mind set and tune it to watch a doubtful, but potential turn up for the books and see Town put in a decent performance against one of the BIG clubs? Jeez, they may even sneak a shock win!

For all those who attend, including the Reds' fans, wrap up, enjoy the match and may the best team on the night win!

Even if Wagner left, which he won’t, who is out there to steer the ship and then play exciting football?
