Team news.
Widespread reports that there will be 6 changes tonight, not going to bother guessing who, where or what but one man who won’t be in the side is a Daniel Sturridge who has completed a loan move to WBA. A player with all the talent in the world and a great striker, it’s just a crying shame he has a body made of glass.
#LFC XI: Karius, Gomez, Lovren, Matip, Robertson, Henderson, Can⚽️ Milner, Salah⚽️, Firmino⚽️, Mane.
Subs: Mignolet, Van Dijk,TAA, Wijnaldum, Ox, Ings, Solanke

Hows it taking it for granted wanting a Spurs win? If they win, we are still above them and closer to United which drags United into the fight also. Not only does it give us a better chance of finishing second but it drags the worst side of the top five into the battle which I think Liverpool and Spurs will win.

Surely Spurs are the most vulnerable out the top five at this stage? United may be awful to watch, but they’ve been getting the results and have a better goal difference than us. I’ve seen nothing to suggest this is going to stop.

They have all the others in the top six to play. If they lose these types of games, starting with Spurs they'll likely drop out. They've picked up points playing crap against most of them in the first half of the season but it's coming to the business end when they won't get away with that. If Spurs beat them, I'd say that would make them most vulnerable. They will have to start going for wins against the better sides.

Utd dropping out of the top 4 isn’t going to happen.
Spurs are the most vulnerable, but we are above them now despite them beating us, so I see no reason why we won’t be above them in 13 games time, whether they win tomorrow night or not.

They had loads of injuries tbf.
Full back has killed them. Davies and Trippier are nowhere near Walker and Rose and it's effected their attacking paterns no end. Just subtle little things like a bit more space for Alli and Eriksen. Plus quality of course.

I just don’t see United dropping enough points to lose top four. Even if Spurs beat them, they still need a two game swing to catch them up. United won’t lose every game against the top six, and they’ll pick up plenty of points in the nine games against the lesser opposition they have to play.
They also have Sanchez who may well help them improve against the better teams.

Sanchez should help the a lot.
Like you I have been distinctly unimpressed with them this season considering the money spent.
I do think Sanchez will make a difference to them though and should be enough to get them top 4 minimum. Hope I'm wrong though.

Utd aren’t good to watch but they get results and will carry on getting results.
They are the main challengers for 2nd.
Chelsea are unpredictable and Spurs have been inconsistent.
I suspect Utd will finish 2nd but 3rd is achievable for us.
Will be small margins and a bit of luck here and there and also CL will have a bearing.

You know we lost two football matches by the odd goal don't you?
Probably flirt with relegation.

Yes it does.
One is a parody of what the moaners do. The other is the law of attraction and one of the most basic laws of physics.
