Seem to be having a shot at churning out a horror show of a performance in fact a few are having more than one.. let’s hope our two are out the way and back to some good form.. Perhaps having one of our horror shows in the cup rather than two bad league defeats is a blessing in disguise?

We're a long way off winning the title at the moment
.....
The way Jose is setting United up in the away games against the best teams in the league is so un Man United like his record is actually a disgrace and can’t be defended by anyone

Yeah no excuses, we've been terrible overall in those games

I’m genuinely not wumming but I kind of thought the Sanchez signing was the one where he finally trusted the team to go out and really have a go and compete.. I know he won two cups in his first season and I don’t want to take anything away from that but I think the Route to winning the Europa League was about as easy as it could have got and his final league position last season with his resources was all in all poor.. I honestly think he is a manager past his best...

Superb article
Liverpool and Spurs can match city on their day but can also be awful
Chelsea aren't right but have a few good players and are always hard to beat
Utd are awful to watch but mourinho has bored the 3 points out of matches their usually 3 out of 10 most weeks were as us and Spurs are either 10 or 1

One wonders if this stems from the fact both team have such a high energy game strategy as do City but unlike City don’t possess the massive depth in squad to consistently do it week in week out and every so often look jaded and tired where as City have so much depth they can like for like rotate players of a higher quality???

I actually posted yesterday that I thought Uniteds signing of Sanchez would make them favourites for second and that he would help them in the big games.
Made sense at the time

We played poorly and the way we set up is poor.
You can't play Matic and Pogba in a midfield 2 versus Alli, Eriksen and Son. That is pretty much making it 1 vs 3, especially with the way Pogba plays. Pogba as a Cam with Matic and another would have helped, so would dropping Lukaku and having a front three of Martial/Rashford, Sanchez and Lingard.
