Now that the transfer window has officially closed, we can now all relax and end the constant, boring speculation of who we were or were not going for.
I was probably the only one on here that felt we didn't need any more signings, as I had read many reports that Nuno was happy with the squad he has now. Yes we got Mir for 1.5m but we'll just have to wait and see if he makes any impact in the coming weeks.
It would have been absolutely ridiculous to have splashed out millions on players during this window. Why? Well, because you don't get many decent signings in January that are worth the money and we're still only a Championship club. The summer is the best time to go get players as many are out of contract and the window is longer.
If we get promoted, then we'll get mega bucks for it. Maybe as much as 100m. Thats's the time to go and get the better players that will keep us in the top flight and hopefully see us climb the table, unlike last time when we went backwards every season.
Don't worry about players getting injured and not having any cover either. We have cover for everyone and Nuno knows it.
Now we can sit back and look forward to the roller coaster ride that comes with being a Wolves fan. Here's to more points on Saturday.

wolfgang, i wasn't referring to you or any other specific poster on JA606 when i wrote the words you credited to tam you might not read the threads on other forums, but I've seen dozens of comments since Wednesday night getting more and more rabid about how afobe has arrived to save wolves and carry us single-handedly to the premier league any beyond...I've also seen a lot of re-writing of history, where people have come up with all sorts of fanciful conspiracy theories bordering on beni being kidnapped and dragged down to Bournemouth in chains so M&M could line their pockets with pie tokens.
it's all tosh!
most of us are fully behind afobe and everyone else in the squad and will support whoever plays for us. but i prefer to save the hero-level adulation for players who've been here longer than one season, done much more to help the club achieve success, and not jumped ship at the first sign of a pay-rise. not knocking afobe for that, but also not going to get down and kiss HIS arzehole just yet...unless it really can write a better matchday thread than halfy.

I’m sure Wolfgang’s arzehole is a very talented thing and busy in certain areas of Hereford however, that’s not my business.
Jeff was recently quoted as saying that the MDT had inspired Fosun to invest Millions of pounds in raising the wolves squad / profile to match the aforementioned MDT
Can your arzehole do that ?
