Six Nations 2018

This is the thread for this year's Six Nation's competition!

RKW usually puts one together, however his profile is under moderation (since August) and I didn't see any others. Anyway, since the competition starts tomorrow, perhaps this one will do!

Discuss!
Who do you think will win this year's competition?
Who could be the surprise team this year?
Prediction on who could be the player of the tournament?

This is normally the point where we start discussing the combined team of the tournament. Would it be Mako or Healy? Would Hogg or Halfpenny be full back, and healthy debate would be had.

Not this year though. You start with the Ireland team and see if you can make a case for anybody. Yep, I'm struggling too. No doubt about it, Ireland were that good.

There is one man for whom I would make a call, but it's a big call as it means replacing Rob Kearney, who has been superb. Now you're all thinking here he goes, with all his Stuart Hogg nonsense again.

But no my friends, Stuie is not that man. I give you Matteo Minozzi, the diminutive Italian 15. What a talent that lad is. We will hear a lot more of him in years to come.
