Am I the only one who feels his performance on Saturday has been a tad overrated just to feed into the narrative that Jose failed to get the best out of him? Similar to the other stupid narrative that Ox has been transformed by Klopp.
I don't doubt Mikhi's talent, he has a great touch, vision, pace and skills but despite the blame put at Mourinho's door step regarding his performances the guy was given chances and put in some horror performances for united. I remember watching about him after 6 games at the start of the season shocked he was still starting games.
The guy is weak, forget his abilities for a second but he is struggling to adapt to the league. Similar to Martial I dont quite believe we will see the best of his abilities.
I will support him as an Arsenal player and the fact that it means I am less likely to see Iwobi in the starting lineup but I wouldnt be surprised if he disappoints us with some weak performances.

What perhaps impressed me the most was his tracking back in that game - because I was led to believe he didn’t do that - still, I reiterate, it’s early days- let’s see.

Everton are awful. So not the best team to say if the player is good. But he did put in a top performance. Three assists isn't a joke, hardly everhappens. Especially three clear ones, where all 3 times the scorer had an open opportunity.

We are getting slightly ahead of ourselves, remember they also make Iwobi look somewhat decent.
Give him 4-5 games before we fully judge.

He provided 3 assists, performances don't come a lot better than that, especially against a solid side like Everton.
I understand about withholding judgement but give credit where it's due.

Iwobi is a kid who will eventually mature. Mikhi is the real deal who was not used properly by Mourinho. Look at the others Mourinho sold.
