A note on the season so far.

A quick look at the table sees Liverpool 3rd, ahead of CFC (Currently losing 1-0 and down to 10 men), Spurs and Arsenal.

We have played home and away to both Spurs and Arsenal and await the CFC away game; there have been a lot of plaudits for Poch while Wenger and Conte have been slated, Klopp also gets a hard time with his "BR is the benchmark" laughable comparison.

Why is it that Poch to me anyway seems to get loads of positivity yet his team has won nothing and he currently sits in a europa league spot? btw i am not writing this to get a bite, its a genuine question.

I get Poch has done a very god job at Spurs, but he imo has been massively overrated, he has won nothing and in Europe failed really; i hope Spurs go far in the CL as i do all English clubs bar Utd..of course!

Anyway, poch....overrated or worthy of the plaudits??

Good points to be fair, i agree he has done well and yes the Saints comment is worthy too; he was a good manager their as well.

On money spent, well Can, Mane, Salah bringing in Gomez and TAA and Woodburn i think Klopp has also done well. I actually think even VVD will prove to be a fair price.

we also play attractive footy and are leagues best goalscorers behind city. Maybe Poch is doing ok, maybe...i guess at seasons end we will see if they have won a trophy or got CL; as with us of course

Trust me, is spurs fans want to win something desperately and I’m sure you’ll all agree that right now he is our best chance. We are slowly becoming a bigger club (fan base, players, stadium, revenue) so it’s only a matter of time if we do keep him and the players

actually Can was a BR signing i think...delete one then!

yes thats the key...keeping your players; you will find out soon enough, best of luck on that.

GB, you didn't ask if he was better than Klopp, or if Klopp was a good coach, which he is. But if Poch was overrated, it appears most don't think so.

Has Poch ever won a trophy? Klopp has.

Doing a great job though but spurs do seem to get more plaudits than most. So agree with GB on that.

Liverpool and Spurs are at similar levels of net spend

i think spurs are bound to win a trophy soon and if they keep their team together they could win a few.
all a team needs is a lucky run of inferior opponents.
just look at man utd last year.

manger of the month thats it.

8 years a manager

headed for 3 years in charge of Spurs.

Has an absolute gimmie draw in the FA cup so he's really got no excuse now.

4 big teams left in including his team. likely 4 small prem teams, leicester, swansea, brighton and the who knows between saints and west brom.

Poch will go into Qf of cup and if he fails to get to a SF the only excuse he can have is an away draw to a top 4 rival.
