Bakayoko was poor last night and I can't see him staying but

BUT

I,and many others pretty much felt the same about KDB when he was with us.

I'm not selling, just telling what I recall. I always felt he looked a bit overawed when he played, he should have been given more time and that's clear now.

Now for those that think I'm claiming Bakayoko is the next kdb I'm not, but he may develop.

I don’t remember anything negative about kdb other than from mourinho jfdi.

I'm really struggling to see it right now. I will say the only times he's looked comfortable, like he even wants the ball, is when he has yards of spaces ahead of him with at least one teammate in support, against United (h) you could see his B2B potential (before he'd screw up the pass lol).

He might just be a player who can only perform in a swift counter attack style like Monaco played last season. Which we'll never play, too many teams camp against us.

he was Monaco's worst player in their CL run. Surrounded by wonderful technical players he looked cumbersome.

I can say with total certainty that Bakayoko won't ever come good for us. We need to accept that this transfer didn't work and move him on at the end of his first season with us. It's that simple, it really is.
