Films.......

A community question really, with the advent of "streaming sites", legal and no so legal; there has never been a better time to view the most up to date film releases...however, how do we know what is good or bad?

There is such a selection that you can waste an evening looking for a decent one, critics choices are hit and miss...so, anyone have a good choice? You can add genre to help.

For instance i looked at a film called "the foreigner", never heard of it before but its an absolute excellent film, i would highly recommend.

Any suggestions boys, and of course girls??

They do an “if you liked this, you’ll like....” but it’s not fool proof. Would love a proper intuitive one. Find the same on Netflix with anything. I’m just randomly scrolling looking for stuff but only really choose stuff which mates have recommended to me. That’s what we need. A robot mate who’s known you for years and just selects you films and tv for you.

Get the football prediction option, without added boom!

Yeah I just check IMDB. If it gets below a 7, I generally avoid it.

Find a critic who generally likes what you like and stick with them. Normally if Mark Kermode likes it, I do.

Rotten tomatoes is handy

Kermode is fair critic
