Mayweather would get murdered in an octagon against Conor, or any other same weight class MMA fighter in UFC or Bellator for that matter.

Obviously Mayweather would earn a ridiculous amount of money to step into an octagon against McGregor, arguably his biggest ever payday to date because everyone would watch that fight. Everyone. However he'd take the biggest beating of his career to earn it. That's why it won't ever happen.
