Various newspaper reports claim that Man City's Patrick (Paddy) Roberts is being considered by Leicester as part of a cash/player deal in the Mahrez saga. He is currently on his second loan season at Celtic. As I live "North of the Wall" I have checked with a few of my Celtic contacts who tell me he is a very talented left footed right winger. Here are his goals during his loan spell at Celtic.

Playing at Celtic and too good for Leicester?
Chuckles to himself and moves on...

So I guess you think that Wanyama and Van Dijk are not good enough for Leicester either?

I mean teams like Celtic and Le Havre just dont have players good enough to play for Leicester ...........

There’s a difference between not good enough and too good. But I’m sure you already know that....
What about somewhere in the middle?

he would be a decent option for a bottom end premier league or top of championship
don't think he is better than what you have and is never a replacement or mahrez
usually injured aswell would probally cost 5 or6m

Look at his record in Scotland.
Speaks for itself. Spends most of his time injured and misses open goals from 2 yards.
A few decent flashes of ability but nothing sustained. Doubt he will make it at PL level.

i suppose it depends what report people want to believe. it was reported on the city side, that Leicester asked for Roberts in the deal and pep said he didn't want him to leave.
