No diving cheats this time although Bertrand could well be a Spurs player soon the way he falls to the ground has Spurs DNA all over it, Bertrand, Dele and Kane could well represent the UK Diving team at the Olympics...fair play to em.
In the end a straight forward victory, no dramas defensively and VVD looks as cool as a cucumber. Karius looks like the GK who was voted one of Bundesliges best and Robertson is a massive upgrade on Moreno...massive!
Nice to see Lallana back too, Bobby and Salah continue to knock in the goals and assists. Mane looks a bit lost though, form has deserted him but probably wont be long before hes back, no worries for me.
2 points of Utd now and that OT game is looking huge for me, cant wait for it.
Porto up next on Wednesday with a nice 10 day rest before we host W Ham at Anfield, then another home game Vs Newcastle with a week rest in between before its Porto at home; so after Porto away its 3 home games in a row, its a great chance to crack on....BOOM indeed
Proper BOOM...

Delighted with the win but something doesn’t seem quite right, a lot of players still out of sorts
Salah once again superb and VVD looks superb

I was going to disagree, VJ on the issue of a lot of players being out of sorts, but, you may have a point. Throughout the game we seemed to give the ball away time and again. Southampton had 60% possession. Things need to tighten up if we are going to get anything at FC Porto.

thought you played better the 2nd half seemed calmer on the ball.

Yeah VVD is as 'cool as a cucumber' just like when he booted Lamela in the back of the leg to cost you 2 points. No where near Vertonghen and Alderweirelds level.

Another salty spurs fan, mind the gap

Jimmy your spot on, other than maybe the last 10- 15 mins when we controlled the game we kept giving the ball away time and time again, saints never punished us unlike spurs last week
Wasn't a awful performance but we don't have the spark that we have in our locker
But all that aside, Utd and Arsenal dropped points and we won away, clean sheet 👌👍👍

EXACTLY....look at it again, he practically jumps in between and falls over.....thanks for proving my point

You implied that VVD didn’t kick him with your ‘and fell over’ comment
Not sure if you have visual problems but VVD clearly kicks him. So I think I rather contradicted, rather than proved your point

Not still grizzling about last weeks penalties. FFS get over it, move on. Bunch of cry babies.

Right.
So who's fault is it that Spurs are below Liverpool.
Better manager, better goalkeeper, better defenders, better midfield, best striker in the world.
WTF is going on.
