I Found This Old Picture 1969

Library.photoslibrary/resources/proxies/derivatives/26/00/261d/FNtUbp+MTCutGEnTxCjXhA_thumb_261d.jpg

It's a picture of the team on their way to the County Offices in Matlock after winning promotion to Division 1 in 1969.

I think the player holding the cup is Ron Webster. I can't identify any of the others.

I'm on a roll, so here are both photographs and a lot more of the 1946 FA cup victory parade. Spart should be in some of those I guess?

Forest 1 Derby 2 FT under 23s. Forest tried to clog us off the pitch but we held firm. Many empty pink seats, as per.

Bit of nostalgia here (1946 FA Cup final video).

Look-out for the nifty step-over from the Charlton No. 6.

Anybody agree it's Ron Webster and McGovern holding the trophy.

Brilliant, Scouse
Looks like something off Ripling Yarns. Four one. Four bloody one !
Derby crowd's not changed a bit though. Bunch of happy clappers

I'd love to see some of the modern footballers against these old school guys. Throwing a trick would be like fake throwing a stick for a dog.

They'd probably end up in hospital for doing it though.
