Sturridge

His career summed up in 2 minutes. Hamstring injury shows he didn’t stretch properly and is injured yet again. His heart isn’t in the game anymore doesn’t care. First thing your taught is to stretch to stop getting muscle injuries.

How do you know that Lallana is not training?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

What?

He's not playing any more footy than Sturridge. This thread started about how Sturridge would push himself to play. Is your tinfoil hat affecting your wifi?

You mentioned Lallana and then could not back your claim.

I remember when everyone said this about Ledley King actually.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I think you couldn’t get much of a more contrasting example there. Ledley’s knee was completely ruined and the only training he mainly did was swimming which was usually done the day before a game. I remember one of the coaching staff saying that after a game his knee would swell horribly and that he had no choice but to retire in the end as he was basically grinding away the bone on his knee every time he played. If Sturridge is refusing to play every time he feels a little tweak then as has been said already he should retire. I have nothing against the player personally as on his day he was pretty good but I think it’s time for him to call it a day.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Even though he was Spurs through and through, Ledley King was and is one of my all time greats in football. It was a tragedy that he was lost to football because of his injury.

I don't buy into the black issue either. If you are a genuine fan it doesn't matter a toss what the colour race creed religion is of a player, no matter who they play for.

Just look at our devastating front three, Bobby, Sadio and Mo. All from different backgrounds etc., and I see them as football players from my club who for me, set the world afire when they are playing, and that's all that matters.

It's a football thing, and I hope there's never any cure.
