Tough night in store i thought before the match began, in the UK we tend to underestimate our European cousins. Add in Porto have a very good European pedigree and have not lost this season at home i think.
WOW.....bang x 5, going forward it was mesmeric at times; the front three and those all over the team helped, winning the ball back forward passing and movement, the whole team was outstanding really.
For me, i though Milner, VVD and Karius all looked like they created a calm presence; VVD strolled it, fk me it was too easy VVD moved into an attacking space and out of defence because he was bored.
Balls in the box i wasnt worried....not at all, for the second game on the trot, VVD is like a magnet, headed everything and organised the whole back line, it was brilliant!
Thats 2 clean sheets on the trot and for me the second game we DIDNT look like conceding...
BTW 1...Porto record home defeat? Thats was tonight....0-5
BTW 2...if Djimi can...can VVD
