I like this site, I enjoy reading comments by fellow Reds, fellow football fans from other clubs, many of whom put some genuine thought into their posts and articulate their views well.
But, gawd help us, you get some dross on here, at times none more than when LFC enjoys an emphatic win. In fairness, no one would or could have predicted last nights result. Porto, despite their reputation, irrespective of their of their impressive record to date, were poor. But that takes nothing away from the Reds (or Orange's) game last night. The whole team played out of their skins.
There are several ManU, Spurs, Chelsea, City fans who post constructive criticism which I enjoy reading, but there are others whose constant drivel, bile, shiiite, call it what you will (envy, perchance?), trying, desperately to provoke a negative reaction, especially when we enjoy a fantastic win whose posts I totally ignore. I don't respond to them, in the main they're not worth a left handed one.
If everyone else did the same, these idiots might just fade away. And die.

Spurs fan in peace. Not going to get caught up in pathetic squabbling, sometimes it really is just embarrassing to see from all sides.
Anyway, massive well done to Liverpool. To win 0-5 away in the CL knock out stages is seriously impressive no matter who you play. I think Liverpool have as good a chance as ANY of the teams of winning the tournament. I just hope Spurs and Liverpool don't face eachother at any point in the competition because this site would be unbeatable from both sides.

To be fair Liverpool fans are kicked off Liverpool matcthreads for saying something negative, you are overreacting massively and should take that chip off your shoulder.

Welcome to the internet Jimmy. Idiocy appears to be celebrated and the ability to provoke a reaction from someone (trolling) is actually prized over discussion.
What gets me about this site is the ‘whataboutism’. When anyone makes an observation that is in any way negative the first response appears to be - what about when Liverpool (or any other) did X or what about when Liverpool player Y did Z. Haven’t read all the posts here but I’d bet there’s evidence on this thread.
No attempt to actually discuss an issue, just cloud it with what-about’s arguments. It’s a technique Trump uses a lot so I can’t claim it doesn’t work but it’s absolutely pointless in terms of debate.
That said, I have had really good discussions on this site.
