Won the Europa League and the League cup, would you still want Wenger Out?
We would have won 5 trophies in 5 years (including a European one), it would mean we qualify for the UCL and this would have been the first time we won 2 trophies in the same season in yonks. Furthermore, it would mean we have been just as successful as Utd under Mourinho, and of course more successful than Liverpool and Spurs for the past few years.
Back in the late noughties/early 2010s lots of us said we would prefer to win trophies instead of the top 4 - and we would be winning trophies and qualifying the UCL (effectively being in the top 4).
I think I'd still want him to leave just because the team is clearly still regressing and I feel like it will only regress under him, but if we did win both trophies I would be forgiving for those who wanted him to stay.
If we...

If we win I would let him run out of his contract and stay next season. If we don't win Europe and miss out another CL then he should go.

Good to see we still got it

Yes enough's enough, cup victories are not enough to cover up the fact we're going backwards under this man. Ironically our failure last season (finishing 5th) is what's still giving us hope this season. Winning the Europa though would be a minor miracle given our away form, just got to hope we can batter everyone at home.

Id still want him out. It’s clear we are very far behind in the league, and judging by his champions league record Wenger wouldn’t get far in CL anyway if we qualified. So I’d like someone else to give it a go.
It’d still be a decent achievement for him if he did win it. And it’d be the perfect time for him to leave. He’d have won us a good trophy and got us back in CL.

Of course he still needs to go, but would mean he leaves with a little bit of dignity. Which at the moment looks unlikely

We have struggled in two of the biggest competitions and regressing in both for the last 4-5 years. The prem and champions league.
Yes we have been more successful than the likes of pool and Spurs over the last 10 years but that shouldn't be the bench market

The Europa is going to be way harder to win this season, we are probably 2nd or 3rd favourites behind Atletico Madrid.
Dortmund and Napoli could be going out but there are still loads of good team left.

Cups mean very little if the team/club are regressing overall. In these scenarios you run the risk of making the clean up job far harder down the line. Essentially they paper over ever widening cracks
Likewise Cups mean very little if the team/club are improving overrall.
Cups are just a pleasent bonus for 99% of sides with only a few of the truely top clubs finding it almost "mandatory" given the resources and squads at their disposal.
Arsenal under Wenger are and have been regressing. The last hope is that now some of Wengers power has been removed there may be an upturn in fortunes but I doubt it

How can you set the bar so low?
