There was a small silver lining to yesterday's draw, our game against Palace has been moved from Monday night to Sunday lunch time. I find the Friday and Monday night slots awful so am happy about this, don't have to spend all weekend watching other teams, then go back to work and then watch Spurs.

i HATE games on Monday evenings
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep, ita bloody awful. From next season there will be a Saturday night slot now, hopefully it will be successful and they will do away with Monday's altogether.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I doubt it, I cn only see more weekdays slots being used. It'll be 7 days a week before you know it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I hope not, TV should be making more use of Saturday's, and clubs should get rid of the 3pm rule, it's no longer relevant seeing as A) lots of people stream B) they get the majority of their revenue from TV and C) fans will still go to games anyway. Condensing everything into Saturday and Sunday will lead to more rest time all round and potentially improve the quality on show. You could do:
Saturday
12
2
4
6
8
Sunday
12
2
4
Kick off times

False economy, make 11 changes, draw and now an extra game prior to Juve. Ho hum....

Insanity is when you keep doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Tottenham entering tournaments?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
United bringing back Pogba, they obviously didn't learn the first time round
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We've only brought him back once.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But had him on your books twice sherlock

It`s OK, our fans are happy with that. They want all this rotation, and the extra games that it entails.

That seems to be the goal, extra games!
Think our fans need to set their sights a little higher.

Unlike the fans Poch doesn't give a Shiite about the cup, it's obvious with his team selections, he chose the Semi last year to trial Son as a left back.
I get it from Poch point of view, if we won the FA cup but didn't qualify for the CL then it makes it harder to retain and attain top players, would Moura have come to us if we hadn't of qualified for CL the last couple of years?

Poch needs to get some silverware on his CV, Levy will only be so patient with him in the new stadium.

Absolutely infuriating isn't it. Play Kane, Alli and Eriksen for 60 mins, get comfortably ahead and then make changes. Now we have to slog out another 90 (or possibly 120).
If we get through and try this in the QF we will be knocked out, were treating these games like the Europa league group stage.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As if it were that simple.... you’re aware that in the history of football there have been instances where someone has played something close to their strongest team vs weaker opponents and still not won?
France vs Senegal and Spain vs Korea in 2002 World Cup?
Greece vs everyone in Euro 2004?

There was talk of moving the Newcastle Friday night match "if we make the quarter finals of the FA Cup". Any update on this yet anyone know? Can't see anything on the official site.

If we make the QF then it will def be moved, as the QF are that weekend. If we make the semi then the Brighton away match will be moved.

You are arguing my point, I 100% agree that sometimes far better sides get beaten by weaker teams, but you increase the possibility of that by not playing your strongest team.
