Great to see the true fans of our club giving him a standing ovation (TB i am being rude because i am sure you where on your feet too) when he was subbed, the most talented player that i have seen in 50 years in a blue shirt.
so we are at home to Chelsea well we can do that, and if anyone thought we would not have to beat the big four to be the best knockout team in the country they where deluded a bit.
So home on Saturday i'm getting rained on i think that's what you call.
Hope you are all enjoying the ride and where is my mate Amaretey he's better than Simpson imo as a wing back we got a clean sheet without him but was that luck or just playing a week team.

We will all have different feelings about what makes a Legend and who is a Club Legend.
I would have thought that the whole team of ‘impossibles’ who gave us the Greatest Footballing Year of our lives in 2015/ 16 WINNING the English Premier League are all Legends, they are in my mind.
The Team won the League not individuals, that’s Legendary!

Of course you are right they are all legends Rory De latte Nathan Dyer included
Whats that got to do with the price of team in China?

It’s simple really, Simpson and Albrighton for example are legends just like Vardy and Mahrez!

Nathan Dyer's a cult hero just for that one suicidal header against Villa.

I don't think Rory De Latte is a Leicester legend to be fair.

Whoes Rory De Latte, not a legend for me.
Now Richie De Latte yes, part of championship
winners, great escape and breifly prem winners
scored in the same game as Dyer.
Daniel Armartey also played in prem team as did Joe Doo Doo.
Going back to the Weller era, what about Shilton.
He did a Mahrez cos he couldnt get a transfer to a bigger club. So Jimmy dropped him and brought Wallo
in ( another legend). In the end Shilts had to settle for
Stoke. It probably cpst him 20 caps as Don Revie obly
piced him once. He eventually did won everything
evcept the FA cup ( even if it was with Fotest)
Yet for me Shilts is always a legend, the first keeper I saw for Leicester, and still the best ( even if Kasper has won the prem).
And Nev before you bring it up, I never saw Gordon Banks play for Leicester.
As TB says legends are all a matter of opinion.
Great post though Joby

The point I was making is that the legacy players leave in the minds of fans is subjective, to some extent, and we’ll all have different views. Just as we’d have different views on who is our favourite player, manager etc. Mahrez will be no different.
I’m not sure that there are many situations, however, where you should ever boo your own players. It’s just not helpful or likely to help the team get results. If you decide that Mahrez has tarnished his legacy beyond repair then wait until he leaves and returns with another team. Then boo to your hearts content.

I feel sorry for Mahrez, so his recent meltdown doesn't affect his legendary status for me. Must be hard to be so close to something you want more than anything only to end up in a position where it might never happen. Working for Pep at one of the biggest clubs in the world is potentially a once in a lifetime opportunity. I will say though that if he had dragged out recovering from his tantrum much longer I might think differently but he got through his grieving in fair time.
As for our Prem winning team, that was definitely legendary as a unit but there's no way Danny Simpson on his own is a legend! Don't even get me started on De Latte.
