It's clear that only one side was playing football tonight. First Wigans best player in Powell has to go off to injury, then Delph puts in a horror tackle and gets a red. City then spend the entire second half pumping it long and playing centre halves up front.
Teams like Wigan who play the game in its purest form need more protection and clearly 1 red card isn't enough.
Is not only Wigan players that need protection though. The coaching staff need protection from Big Sam Guardiola in the tunnel, the fans need protecting from Aguero and even Wigan police need protecting from the City fans throwing advertising onto the pitch.
Come on FA do the right thing
Wigan need more protection from referees

You can understand how players like delli alli fall down when a butterfly flaps its wings 200 miles away...it’s the very thought of city’s butchers that scare the lies of him into protecting himself.

tis funny how they are pretty quiet about the red, dint wanna draw attention to the fact that their pplayers are just as bad at tackling as the rest. But you know if it was a tackle like that against one of ttheir players we wouldnt be hearing the end of it. Though i have seen them say it wasnt a red...

Aguero was a naughty boy, another long suspension possibly, with a history of violent behaviour. Such a fine player on the pitch, shame his demons get the best of him at times. Losing to Wigan in an FA Cup match is nothing to be ashamed of, they do it often enough to be THE giant killas.

Wigan should have down to 10 after 6 minutes
Didn't even get booked
Delph's challenge didn't even look a foul from the stands. I'm not convinced it warranted a red but I can understand people making an argument for it.
