No, as I've repeatedly said I'd rather you just didn't use it as it has massive connotations with both tragedies (as you yourself said). It's not hard, no faux outrage, just rather you didn't say it because of its history. Utd don't like it either. They released a statement saying they "deplore" it but they're just not getting the lightening mind and hilarious pastiche of dangerdog and your type either no doubt.

I wouldn't black up anyway but if I did I wouldn't try and spin it as "well actually I'm Fred Dibnah after a hard days work and you've got it all wrong" because that would make me a cvnt.

I don't disagree with much of what you say and wouldn't generally use it as a dig myself, my only issue is with the reaction.

Presumably you weren't at Heysel so I'm intrigued at why you are offended by such a comment.

There's a difference between understanding why it's insensitive and being offended by it.

You keep going on about connatations, well if you take the connotation that way, it’s your problem, as I have a clear conscious when using it. You cannot ban someone from using a phrase because you chose to align it with those tradegies.

The Man Utd scenario and statement occurred due to people knowingly saying it with the connotation of Hillsborough which is disgraceful

Right so on a football forum, about football, when saying #alwaysthevictim to fans of Liverpool football club it's unreasonable to link the phrase, which every man and his dog knows is about the tragedies (as you said yourself), to those said aspects when it's in the context of football?
