Been checking in to see how Ideguchi has been getting on at Spanish second division club Cultural Leonesa.
I cannot say it is very inspiring, he has played all of 60 minutes in 3 matches:
Came on as sub in 80th minute, got a yellow card, they lost the match
Came on in second match in 91st minute, they lost the match
Started third match, was subbed after 46 minutes with side 2-0 down. After sub they pulled back 2 goals but lost 3-2
In each match they played a completely different formation, 4-1 4-1, 4-2-3-1 and then 4-3 4-3
Not sure how this prepares him for doing well at Leeds.

I suppose I could churn out the defence that he's a young lad, moved to Europe and different league/home/culture/language etc ..... so will take time to acclimatise/adjust etc ..... and I do think there will be some of that to factor in. In theory that's the whole point of sending him out to develop in Spain (and not a UK winter) .......
But with all the comings and goings, it does make you wonder who's profiting from it all.

I agree with the future etc taking time to acclimatise to, then why send him to one alien culture - Spain, only then to send him onto another one - England.
Whole thing is beginning to stink.

Haven't watched the last video yet, but seems tidy enough, but nothing that looks really promising either. And not encouraging he's not a regular starter.
Will be interesting to see him at the WC, if he makes the squad.
Hopefully he'll come good.

Another example of the club over complicating things. do what other teams do with genuine promotion aspirations. Sign 3 to 4 quality players even if you have to pay through nose who are starters.Orta and co got their fingers in too many pies fory liking.
