Christiensen mistake

I just hope that he learns from this game,overall,he played pretty well,but on more than one occasion he played sloppy passes,I wouldn't say they were mistakes,as much as carelessness and lack of concentration.Perhaps he was overawed a bit ,but he certainly has to work on his focus a lot more.

Young defenders have to be allowed make these types of mistakes, pity for you it wasn't in a league game you're well ahead in, but it's all a learning process.

He looks like a serious talent who should learn from the mistake.

Tbh we've been relying on him this season so your point is a bit invalid. A mistake changes the game. Was poor. But he's been fantastic this season.

Fantastic? He has been decent. I tend to look at him with more critical eyes. Fantastic was Alderweireld last season and I don't think Andreas reached that kind of fantastic. But it's promising. He's also playing with 2 other cb's and Kanté, making his job easier.

Alderweireld played alongside Vertonghen and with Dier and Wanyama in front of him, making his job easier... We can play this game all day long.

Christensen has been very very impressive considering he's 21 and really its his first proper season in the PL.

I have to say I was more disappointed with Azpilicueta diving in on Iniesta, completely misread the ball.

Bad mistake that will cost Chelsea money in the end. It doesnt matter how good he was before.

Game changer in the tie.

I feel like we were headed for a 2-0 win. Would've been an incredible position to be in as if we'd score once in the Nou Camp then Barca would have had to score 4. The pressure on them not to concede would be enormous.

We've got Bakayoko back for the second leg anyway so we've got no fecking chance. We're losing in the tie as it stands

1-1 is a very poor result for us disguised as a decent one. We head to the Nou Camp needing a goal or we're out

To blame Azpilicueta more is like blaming Willian for not passing seconds beforehand, or Courtois for diving the wrong way.
The young lad has to take the blame, and no doubt is.

Im not blaming Azpilicueta, I just feel even though it was a terrible pass from Christensen it was equally as poor for a defender of Azpilicuetas quality to dive in there.

Oh well, Its done.. Just gonna have to beat them on their patch.

Not having a good game against United. But he'll get better.
