Brilliant Chelsea

Barca are massive favourites but they only play one way so we can still counter them and hopefully nick a goal to atleast make it interesting. Just hope the ref doesn't give so many soft fouls and looks at the playacting.

No im not going, it runs the same time I'm doing a course so couldn't make it. Lastnight was great though.

I found the 442 set up interesting and thought Chelsea nullified it well. I thought the Barca team on display lacked pace and acceleration though so will be interesting to see if he gives D Suarez (who I like) or Dembele a few minutes or even start the latter ahead of Paulinho/ Rakatic.

I think if Chelsea are to go through it'll be et or penalties which would be a great result.

Yeah, agree with the Barca system lacking somewhat. They played a central midfielder coming to the end of his career on the left and another central midfielder who lacks pace on the right.

I doubt we'll see that in the return leg.

Still haven't seen the suarez thing, was it a pen? I've heard from everyone, opposition fans included, that it was not.

Definite penalty for me. Suarez was clean through only for the defender to trip him. I do think it was accidental but that doesn't stop it being a foul.

Why do you think it wasn't a penalty? I don't even see what the argument is here, so i'm interested in what your reason is.

Iniesta was brilliant last night, their best player for me.

Different when you see him live

Toor its quite clearly not a pen. Can't remember what spurs fan it was but his words were basically suarez flicked his own foot into rudiger then tripped himself up. Just because suarez is infront why doesn't necessarily mean the contact was not started by him and not rudiger.

He then takes a step before flopping to the floor. Try and stay objective if you can.

I haven't seen it again but when I saw it last night, firstly when it happened, when it wasn't clear and then on the slow motion replay, I thought definite penalty. The defender took his leg out.
